Colorado Blue Spruce

Description: Taking on a pyramidal shape the Colorado Spruce has very pointy needles that range from blue to green in color. The color range itself can vary from tree to tree. When planted these should be put some place with full sun light. Highly tolerable to urban polution these trees will thive in city landscapes. When watering they are highly adaptable to dry and moist soils, but do not tolerate standing water.

Mature Height - 60'     Mature Spread - 15'
Growth Rate: Slow

White Spruce

​Description: Very tough and adaptable to every kind of soil the White Spruce will thrive as long as the soil is not permanently wet. With bluish-green foliage that emerges light green in the spring and remains bluish-green throughout winter. When planted these should be put some place with full sun light. Highly tolerable to urban polution these trees will thive in city landscapes.

Growth Rate: Medium

Columnar Blue Spruce

Description: Featuring bright blue needles and an upright columnar form this tree is uniquely unmistakable. With it's unique shape the Columnar Colorado Spruce is a very ornamental and maintains its bright blue composure during winter. When planted these should be put some place with full sun light. Highly tolerable to urban polution these trees will thive in city landscapes. When watering they are highly adaptable to dry and moist soils, but do not tolerate standing water.

Scots Pine

Description: The scots pine is a species that is native to Eurasia. It can be easily identifiable by its greenish-blue needles and orangish-red bark. Of all varieties of pine, the scots pine is the most tolerent to heavy clay environments. Making it a solid choice for southern Alberta.

Mature Height - 50'     Mature Spread - 30'
Growth Rate: Medium

Siberian Larch

Description: The siberian larch is a deciduous evergreen tree. It's shape roughly represents a triangle, and every year its needles become an attractive yellow before they are shed and regrown the following year. It is intolerant of dry, chalky soils - prefering moist, and well drained sites.
